Tincture101
Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking plant materials such as; roots, bark, berries, leaves (dried or fresh) in either alcohol, glycerine or vinegar. This pulls out the active ingredients in the plant parts, concentrating them as a liquid.
These concentrated liquid herbal extract can be easily utilised for treating various health conditions.

M.H.A Tinctures
All of our tintures are formulated by myself using the finest earths medicine, 100 proof grain alcohol and distilled water.
Each herbal preparation is left to infuse for a minimum of eight weeks, before being decanted into dark dropper bottles.
Alcohol content and children
All our tinctures are formulated using 100 proof grain alcohol to ensure a potent herbal compound. While alcohol-based tinctures are generally considered safe for adults, administering alcohol based tinctures to a child comes with its own discretional warnings - as children are generally considered to be more sensitive due to their smaller frame and developing bodies.
That being said the alcohol content within each M.H.A compound specified dose is very minimal (especially if the herbal tincture is being administered using additional liquid), and its is highly unlikely to cause any negative effects.
I myself use alcohol based herbal extracts with my own children, and have never witnessed any unwanted results. However I urge parents/caregivers to act using their own discretion and/or under the advice of a health professional.
