Skullcap Tincture

Skullcap is primarily used to calm the nervous system, offering relief from anxiety, stress, and insomnia by promoting relaxation without morning grogginess.

Beyond its sedative effects, skullcap provides anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and neuroprotective properties that in turn improve overall mood.

Skullcap herbal tincture > containting dried skullcap , alcohol and water (30% ABV 1:3 ratio) 

Herbal preparation : 

• Take up to 4ml, 2-3 times per day, in water or natural juices
• Place prescribed dosage under the tongue and hold for 30 seconds
• As prescribed (for persons under medical counsel)

Cautions and Contraindications

• Contraindicated for pregnant or breastfeeding women due to insufficient safety data and potential adverse effects on pituitary function.
• Persons with liver disease should avoid or seek medical counsel before use.
• Persons with bleeding disorders and those scheduled for surgery (requiring discontinuation at least two weeks prior) are advised against use because skullcap may slow blood clotting and increase bleeding risks.
• Seek medical counsel before giving to children.
• Persons on pharmaceutical and herbal medications are advised to seek medical counsel before taking skullcap.

All alcohol free tinctures are made using using finest earth medicine, distilled water, and food grade glycerin. Please note glycerite extracts may not be as potent as alcohol extracts and therefore may require higher dosages. Glycerine-based tinctures, also known as glycerites, can last between 14 to 24 months if stored properly.
