Break'Fast - The most important meal of your day!

Break'Fast - The most important meal of your day!

Breakfast hmm...so many views, opinions and contradiction spring to mind, when I hear the words B.R.E.A.K.F.A.S.T!

As a child I was always told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but when you see whats on offer for breakfast (especially in Western culture), and having an awareness that many adults go without the very thing they claim to be important, its easy to wonder exactly how this statement can appear to be true.

But one things for sure now I AM now I KNOW and I'm here to express my overstanding on why Break'Fast really is the most important meal of your day.

So let's talk about it.

When you hear the word B.R.E.A.K.F.A.S.T what the first thing that comes to mind?

"Nothing I don't have time for breakfast"

"I never eat breakfast "

"I don't like cereal"

... whatever your excuse /reason let's address it.

Technically there is nothing wrong with prolonging your first meal of the day. The issue is when you choose to break your fast with the wrong foods.

Rewind to the night before.

You've just finished you last meal of the day and in a few hours will be going to bed. Once you have made the decision to stop eating/drinking your body can begin its innate cutting, clearing and cleansing process. Let's say you fall asleep at 10pm and do not rise until 6am,  your body has been in fasting for the past 8 hours, cutting, clearing and cleansing your entire bodily systems without you having any physical control. Now you awaken and you feel great 👍. This is because you system has been relieved and is now ready to function and take on a new day.

At this point for whatever reason you may choose to skip B.R.E.A.K.F.A.S.T.

By doing so you are only extending your fasting period which will ultimately continue to have a positive impact on your body even if you start to feel a few negative symptoms. So technically you are not skipping B.R.E.A.K.F.A.S.T you are continuing your Fast.

Or maybe... you jump straight into it ... with so many convenient breakfast choices, cereal..bread..juices..pastries???  whatever it is you choose I guarantee that's it just sciences and refined sugar combined in different forms. And this is where ⏰️ bells should be ringing.

If B.R.E.A.K.F.A.S.T is the first thing that we are meant to consume when we start our day shouldn't you be choosing a meal that is fueling.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

...

Same scenario as before, it's the end of the day and you have finished eating / drinking, once your food has been digested your body systems give signal that the first phase is now complete and when you shut down for the night your body can begin to enter its innate cutting, clearing and cleansing process. Again in bed by 10pm and rising for 6am, your body has had 8 hours to initiate its innate restorative programme. So that when you awaken, all your bodily systems are hopefully back up and running.

Now here is where your choice to eat in the A.M may have lasting effects throughout your entire day possibly longer.

Breaking your fast, with nutrient rich foods/liquids will provide you will a daily supply of essential vitamins and minerals as well as work in unison with the bodies innate programming, in my mind this would be the better option.

Then main thing to remember is your body hasn't had any input (foods) for the atleast 8hours so whatever it is you choose to eat once you have returned to your physical body, will be contributing to delivering key messages to a newly programmed system. Fueling the body with cereals, breads, ( refined sugars) etc does not send the right messages, instead it shocks the system, delivering a surge of sugars which over time may leave you feeling low on energy once those sugars have dispersed.

If we begin to think about what fasting actually is and how our body initiates and functions during these periods then we should be able to factor in how we as individuals can be assisting our bodies when we choose to come out of fasting each and every day.

Break'Fast

Choosing to Break'Fast.

Fortunately for me I've been on both sides of the coin, and this has led me to overstand why B.R.E.A.K.F.A.S.T is so important.

Personally, my approach to Break'Fast is exactly that. Somedays I choose to extend my fasting period not breaking my fast until after mid day usually between 1 -2 or somedays I break my fast with what I like to call my Alkaline Hydration Water and then proceed to having a healthy selection or fruits or some sort of porridge.

Now I'm not saying you have to follow suit, my purpose for this post is to bring awareness to the choices that you make in your rising that may or may not effect the rest of your day. Making a conscious decision to fuel your body rather right way not only brings about a better quality of life and brings with it many health advantages but it also contributes to increasing your vibrations which will result in a magnitude of daily positive outcomes.

If I leave you with anything just remember this 'You are what you eat, so think on who you want to be today before you over indulge in lower vibrational consumptions, and change the way you see today'.
