Basic Instructions:

After carefully draining and cleaning the placenta, pat it dry and sprinkle a handful of herbs and salt every 8-12 hours, ensuring it stays dry in between. *Adding salt can help with the drying process, and the herbs will keep the placenta smelling amazing throughout your Lotus Birth experience*. Place the placenta in muslin inside a waterproof container, such as a small basket.
